Disclaimer
The Johnson-Cook Parameter Finder tool is designed solely for educational use and preliminary research.
Simplified Methodology:
Parameters (A, B, n) are estimated using a basic linear regression approach, without advanced curve fitting or optimization.
The yield stress (A) is taken as the first stress-strain data point, which may not be representative for all materials.
Parameters for strain rate sensitivity (C) and thermal softening (m) are currently inactive and require additional data for accurate computation.
Limited Accuracy:
Outputs are not validated and should be cross-checked against experimental data or reputable material databases.
The tool does not model complex behaviors like anisotropy, temperature effects, or nonlinear hardening.
User Responsibility:
The developers make no warranties about the tool's accuracy, reliability, or applicability.
Users are fully responsible for how they interpret and use the estimated parameters.
Development Status:
This is a prototype version. Future enhancements may include multi-condition dataset fitting and more robust regression techniques.
